This Storksak is made from nylon and ships as a shoulder bag although it neatly converts to a backpack.

There is quite a growing interest in black diaper bags, no doubt governed by their practicality and the fact that black will pretty much go with anything you’re wearing.
Due to this interest I thought I’d post a few black bags onto the site that may be of interest.
First up is the GR8x messenger. Yes, you may not know the name but it’s a smart looking bag with a lot going for it.
It’s made from a strong vinyl fabric and has a very strong look about it. There are also a wealth of pockets for storing all the usual accesories one needs to lug around. Of course they have included an inuslated bottle pocket which is almost standard these days, but they have also thrown a waterproof changing pad in too – very handy.

The interior is nice and spacious with plenty of room for carrying your numerous extras such as snacks, spare clothing, and toys etc.
As you can see from the image, the styling is not classically girly but still feminine enough to feel good about carrying it. I think the chrome buckles really set it off very nicely.
It retails at around $100 and so it isn’t an inexpensive bag but for the styling and functionality I think it’s well worth the price. If you’re specifically looking for a black diaper bag then this would be worthy of consideration.
Ultra shiny black diaper bags can be found just about everywhere, however this has nice quilted faux leather design that may appeal to you.

It’s been a while since I last updated this particular section of the site and that simply won’t do. Still, it’s quite a large site to manage for one person and lately I’ve been overwhelmed with one thing an another.
None the less, here we are.
I’ve been thinking a little bit about this part of the site and if anyone should land on this particular page then it’s very likely you’re a new mom or perhaps you know someone who’s about to become a new mom. Either way, the stylish diaper bag is high on the agenda.
Not only do I think this section needs a lot more stylish diaper bags but it could at least do with a link to other parts of the site that give a good overview of what to look for when you make your first purchase.
All that information and more is on this site and you really should take a good look around so you can choose the right bag for you. Remember that it’s not just about the style of the bag but about its functionality too.

Because the word ‘trendy’ suggests ‘current’ I’ve decided that it might be best to load up a whole bunch of images and content that relate directly to new the new releases of 2011.
After all, what is ‘trendy’ is often what is gaining in popularity.
Throughout the week I’ll take it upon myself to go a-hunting and find the most current and popular diaper bags that I can find and post some content and images up here to see what you think.
I’ll make it a cross section if possible, whereby I’ll find releases from some of the major diaper bag brands, but also look out for some lesser known but hidden gems if I can find them.
It seems to me that it’s almost impossible to keep abreast of all the diaper bags available now because there are so many companies delivering the product and in many different styles. Still, I’ll do my best to see what I can find and report back to you when I’ve located about 10-20 of them.

As I said in an earlier post there’s a lot more to come. Not sure if I said I would mix it up a bit but I will. IE, there will be releases from the big guns of the diaper bag world and there will be stuff that you probably wouldn’t come across ordinarily. Which sometimes can provide you not only with a bag that you wouldn’t see many people carrying but it can also save you a tidy sum because the designer isn’t that well known.

Congratulations to Fleurville on breaking the mould with this fantastic backpack. It’s high time that the useful backpack was made to look more interesting and they’ve certainly achieved that here.
Features include nicely padded adjustable straps, see-thru wipes case, insulated bottle holder, spacious zipper pocket, carabiner key clip, changing pad, two side pockets, and is made from eco friendly lam fabric (a polyurethane base from what I can gather ).
Dimensions are 115H x 55 W x 11L and at the time of writing retails at about $129
I’ve also found a rather nice floral version of the same bag too.
